Brett Williams

Managing Director

Brett has over 18 years experience in the Financial Services Industry, and has been providing financial planning advice since 1992. His commitment to financial planning and initiative as a businessman lead him to establish the Financial Affairs. Brett is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

Brett holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services.

 

Brett has successfully completed studies to enable him to provide advice as an authorised representative of Financial Affairs on:

  • Retirement planning;
  • Shares/securities;
  • Superannuation;
  • Risk management;

Including death, disability, trauma and estate planning;

  • Income streams;

Including allocated pensions, annuities and market-linked pensions.

Financial Affairs is a "strength to strength' company. Brett has been employed by Financial Affairs since 1991 and has bought the company from the then owner in 1999. The company is owned solely by its staff and is proud of its organic growth. The company has had in excess of 400% growth since this purchase was made in 1999.

Claire Williams

BBus, BSoc Sc, Dip Fin Planning (DFP)

Financial Planner

Claire joined the financial services industry in 1997 and has ten years experience within the banking and finance industry. Claire commenced her career in Perth and joined our team in late 2001. During that time Claire has built a comprehensive knowledge on the creation of technical and complex strategies, investment knowledge and specialises in wealth creation incorporating tax strategies and investment selection.

With the Bachelor of Business (BBus), Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSSoc) and Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) background, Claire has combined and fine tuned her analytical and business skills to ensure that Financial Affairs clients receive personal tailored advice and services for their financial situation. Claire also specialises in the investments offered by Financial Affairs and prides herself in offering the most suitable investment and financial advice to you personally. Claire actively seeks out opportunities for Financial Affairs clients that consider their investment and philosophical preferences.

Linda Briers

B.Ec., CFP®, Dip FP

Financial Planner

Linda has been employed as a financial planner since 1999, but has worked directly in financial markets and in financial education for over twenty years. 

 

As well as holding a Bachelor of Economics, a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Certified Financial Planner ™ accreditation, Linda was also named in the top 50 of the Australian Financial Review’s Smart Investor’s Masterclass for Financial Planning in 2006, 2007, and 2009.

 

Linda has an extensive knowledge across Australian equities, money market instruments and strategic financial planning advice.

 

As a representative of Financial Affairs, Linda is able to provide advice across a broad range of areas, such as:

Dean Chambers

Financial Planner

Dean joined the financial services industry in 2001 and has significant experience within the investment banking and finance industry. Dean commenced his career in Canberra and joined our team in June 2008. Deans previous employment has enabled him to build a comprehensive knowledge on technical and complex strategies, investments and in wealth creation incorporating tax strategies and investment selection.

With the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws and Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) background, Dean has fine tuned his analytical and business skills to ensure that Financial Affairs clients receive personal tailored advice and services for their financial situation. Dean also specialises in the direct equity investments offered by Financial Affairs and prides himself in offering the most suitable investment and financial advice to you personally. Dean actively seeks out opportunities for Financial Affairs clients that consider their investment and philosophical preferences.
