Emerge Women’s and Children’s support network
Emerge supports women and children who have experience family violence, empowering them to rebuild their lives. Over the past 40 years, Emerge has empowered thousands of women to rebuild their lives by providing them with a safe refuge and practical programs.
Emerge is the first of 13 family violence services chosen by the Victorian Government to fund the building of a new refuge centre and to become a fully funded 24/7 early intervention and crisis centre.
Rowena Thiele, Financial Affairs Director of Accounting is proud to sit on the Emerge Board and lend her expertise to this incredible organisation.
One Day Fun Day
Odonata.org.au and Funsearch.com.au are putting on an awesome event called One Day Fun Day on 14th September. This is a day of free fun for 10,000 sick, at risk, marginalised or vulnerable kids (and their carers) around Australia.
